If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane. ~ Jimmy Buffet, "Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes"

What else can one possibly have to add, except please raise your hand if you also think that if they're not going to investigate why the Super Bowl appeared rigged, it was, if nothing else, one of the most poorly officiated games we have ever witnessed. Is just the semblance of propriety too much to ask for these days?

You know, the whole playoffs was that way. And the superbowl wasn't the worst of it. I don't know why NFL officiating is getting worse, but it clearly is. It's like reliance on the replay makes the refs stop doing their jobs.
(good to see you posting, by the way)

You are so right about the Super Bowl - I live in WA and we are all so proud of our boys...we were all sad they were hosed!

I think the same refs were working the Caps/Pens game tonight...
The NHL and the media are so far up Sidney Crosby's ass it's affecting the ingetrity of the game. Please explain to me how you get an assist on a goal without even touching the puck? And even though the puck does not clearly cross the goal line and the goal judge doesn't light the lamp, the refs count it anyway?
Plus he was named rookie of the month the first month of the season when another player clearly out-performed him! It's really ridiculous...
(please forgive my hockey-rant, I get a little worked up about these things, lol)
